How to Activate Your Cloud Storage
- Buy your laptop through academicshop.com Only purchases through this site are eligible for the free cloud offer.
- Check your email After placing your order, you’ll receive an email with your personal voucher code. Haven’t received it? Check your spam folder or contact info@signpost.eu.
- Log in at AcademicSoftware.eu Use your official school/university login. ⚠️ Access only starts once your school account is activated and your institution is partnered with Academic Software.
- Click “Redeem voucher” on the homepage This lets you enter your code.
- Enter your personal voucher code Use the code sent to you after purchase.
- Search for “Tresorit” on the platform Click on the Tresorit software tile.
- Click “Request licence” This registers your request.
- Follow the installation and activation steps You’ll receive further instructions by email. The email may take a few moments to arrive.
- Start using Tresorit on all your devices Enable automatic backups for peace of mind and added security.
What Happens After the Academic Year?
Your access to Tresorit through Academic Software expires automatically. But:
You’ll get a reminder email before expiry. Then you have two options:
- Prolong your account with a paid Tresorit subscription through the Academic Software platform
- Download and save your files locally before the account expires or migrate to a different storage service
⚠️ Your files will remain available for download, as long as you log in at least once every 6 months. After 6 months of inactivity your account, and files, will be automatically deleted.

Any higher education student who buys a laptop through academicshop.com and is enrolled at a school that works with Academic Software.
You’ll get it via email right after your purchase. Don’t forget to check your spam folder.
Log in to Academic Software, search for “Tresorit”, and click “Redeem voucher”. Then follow the on-screen steps.
Check your spam first. Still nothing? Email info@signpost.eu with your name, order number and school.
Tresorit is not included by default in your school’s software package via Academic Software.
But no worries: even if you do not buy a laptop through academicshop.com or are already using your own device, you can buy Tresorit separately through the Academic Software platform.
Tresorit will notify you. You’ll have the option to upgrade to more storage if needed.
